I'm Lucia Pontoniere, a musician, creator, and educator from San Francisco. My musical journey began at 6 with the violin, evolving from classical to jazz, Irish, and old-time fiddle over more than two decades. In 2018, I got my degree from Berklee College of Music in Violin Performance and American Roots Music.

Post-graduation, I did nationwide tours and recording sessions individually and with my band, The Ladles, exploring songwriting and guitar along the way. When not on stage, I share my passion by teaching violin, guitar, and voice. I have a particular interest in guiding classical violinists into diverse musical styles.

As a teacher, my approach is grounded in joy, excitement, and tailoring lessons to each student's interests. I firmly believe in unlocking the creativity within everyone, finding immense joy in helping people of all ages discover and express their musical voice. I currently offer lessons in person in San Francisco, and online to students worldwide.
